Find your horse: one out of 245 retired Japanese racehorses
Four questions about how you would want to be involved, then six horses out of the 245 listed here. They are picked from six different angles rather than ranked, so the results are not just famous names.
Your answers never leave your device; nothing is sent to a server. Tap a horse in the results to see where it lives and whether you can visit.
The six slots the quiz fills
- The horse you will want to follow for years: the closest match to your answers
- A horse you could go and meet: one that accepts visitors in the region you chose
- A horse whose whole story is worth knowing: chosen from the nearly-men, regional heroes and meritorious horses
- A horse whose upkeep you can support: one with a clear foster or membership scheme
- The horse to meet right now: a discovery pick from outside the G1 winners
- A horse with a new face after racing: now a lead pony, a riding horse or similar
To stop the results filling up with horses from one region or one class, Hokkaido and G1 winners are each capped at three. Dozens of horses tie on the same score for any given set of answers, so the pick among them is random. Take it again and you will meet different horses.
