Karate's racing career
49 starts and 8 wins in JRA racing, including three Grade 3 victories: the Tokyo Shimbun Hai (2021), the Niigata Kinen (2022) and the Niigata Daishoten (2023). Career earnings of 258,328,000 yen.
Karate after racing
A dark bay son of To the Glory, he ran 49 times on the JRA circuit and won eight of them. Taking the Tokyo Shimbun Hai, the Niigata Kinen and the Niigata Daishoten in three successive years, he held his place among the best over a mile and middle distances on turf. A tendon injury ended his racing career in the summer of 2025; he then worked as a lead pony at Tokyo Racecourse, but chronic hoof trouble forced him to give up that role too, and since June 2026 he has lived at a retirement farm in Tochigi.
