M S World's racing career

Nine wins from 51 JRA starts (five from 41 on the flat, four from 10 over jumps) and total earnings of 201,382,000 yen. He gave his sire Stay Gold his first winner, and took the Margaret Stakes (Listed) and the Shirayuri Stakes (open) in 2006 and the Kokura Nikkei Sho in 2007. Switched to jumping at eight in 2011, he won the Kyoto High Jump (JGII) in record time in 2012 for his first graded success, then added the Kokura Summer Jump (JGIII) the same year. He was third in the 2010 Cassiopeia Stakes (Listed) and the 2011 Kyoto Jump Stakes (JGIII).

M S World after racing

He reached the age of eight without a win in almost four years on the flat, then blossomed the moment he was sent jumping. He took his first start over fences, and in 2012, at nine, won both the Kyoto High Jump in spring and the Kokura Summer Jump that summer for two graded wins over obstacles. After retiring he passed through a training centre in Aichi before settling at a riding club in Obu, and since 2017 he has lived there as a state-supported pensioned horse, still as fond of company as ever, now aged 23.
