Magic Carpet's racing career

8 starts and 8 wins in regional racing at Sonoda. He won two Hyogo graded races, the Sonoda Junior Cup and the Kikusui Sho, and retired unbeaten when trouble was found in his legs.

Magic Carpet after racing

A quick Sonoda horse who left the track without ever being beaten. A fracture and a tendon injury brought his racing days to an early close, and since 2019 he has been building a career as a riding horse at a club in Tomisato, Chiba. Horses that retire unbeaten can be counted on one hand in Japan, and at twelve his record alone is reason enough to follow him.
