Nara's racing career
14 wins from 101 regional starts, with thirds in the 2019 Gifu Seiryu Cup and the Gifu Kinsho.
Nara after racing
A clever mare with more than 100 regional starts, but she gets wound up at the canter, so rehoming her as a riding horse was ruled out. Through a rehoming support programme she moved to Kaminoyama Farm in Yamagata in June 2026 and has just started life as a foster horse. You can be there from page one.
How to support Nara

Simply turning up at the farm helps too: admission and anything you buy there goes towards upkeep. Five ways in are set out in how to support a retired racehorse.
