Touch Pegasus after racing
Forty-five starts at Kasamatsu for a single win: the everyday reality of regional racing, in one eight-year-old mare. Retraining for riding did not work out, but she has found a place in a Kagoshima paddock, and although she is being treated for a fractured leg and gastric ulcers, her appetite is undimmed. She is among the youngest of the foster horses, with the most time ahead of her.
