Transcend's racing career
A force in interleague dirt racing: back-to-back Japan Cup Dirt in 2010 and 2011, the February Stakes and the Nambu Hai among four top-level wins, and second in the 2011 Dubai World Cup. Voted best dirt horse of 2011; 10 wins from 22 starts at home.
Transcend after racing
Once he got to the front, nothing came past: that is how he got to the top of Japanese dirt racing and how he held on for second in the richest race in the world. He served twelve years at stud and moved, in the autumn of 2025, to a retirement farm in Hidaka that welcomes visitors. At 19 he has a large field and a third life to spend in it.
