Deep Sky's racing career

5 wins from 17 JRA starts, taking the unusual double of the 2008 NHK Mile Cup and Japanese Derby. He also won the Mainichi Hai and Kobe Shimbun Hai and was voted the year's best three-year-old colt.

He took the NHK Mile Cup and the Derby back to back for an unusual double, then went toe to toe with Vodka and Daiwa Scarlet that autumn. Retired from stud, he moved to a retirement facility in Hidaka and is supported as a foster horse. At the pre-booked open days you can still feel what a Derby winner carries.
