One More Chatter after racing

By Pentire, out of a mare by Pas de Seul. He marked time in conditions races until he was four, but at five, in 2005, two wins at Chukyo lifted him into graded company; after finishing second in the Kokura Kinen he landed the Asahi Challenge Cup that autumn. He raced 51 times, up to the age of ten, and after retiring passed through a farm in Tone, Ibaraki, before moving to a riding club in Tomisato, Chiba. His present owner met him there and took him on in 2013, and at twenty-six he still has fans travelling from far away with carrots.
