Rosa Gigantea's racing career
5 wins from 28 starts in JRA racing (5-2-2-19). Won the 2014 Spring Stakes (GII) and the 2015 Hanshin Cup (GII), as well as the 2015 Aurora Cup. He was pulled up in the Aurora Cup on 12 November 2017 and, after a dislocation of the right superficial digital flexor tendon, his racing registration was cancelled on 20 December that year.

A black horse by Fuji Kiseki. He made a remarkable recovery from a serious injury suffered in a race and now lives a second life as a riding horse at a farm in Narita, Chiba. He turned 15 in April 2026 and has lost none of his competitive streak, though he is said to come over of his own accord when he spots a visitor.
