Afro King's racing career
6 starts, 3 wins, all at Oi in regional (NAR) racing. He won on debut in September 2023 (two-year-old maiden, 1200m) and took two more three-year-old races in the summer of 2024. A sprinter who ran every one of his six starts over 1200m at Oi; deregistered in September 2025.
Afro King after racing
A quick sort who raced just six times, always over 1200m at Oi, and came away with three wins: his debut and back-to-back victories in the summer of his three-year-old year. A training accident in February 2025 dislocated his right foreleg — an injury that put his life at risk and ended any hope of a return to the track. A support programme took him on in July 2026, and he is now convalescing at a training farm in Katori, Chiba, well enough again to kick up his heels in the paddock.
