Killer Cyc Millet's racing career

Twenty-five starts and one win (1-3-0-21) in regional racing. He debuted at Urawa in 2016 with a second place, ran the South Kanto circuit (Urawa, Funabashi, Kawasaki) and moved to Sonoda in the summer of 2018. On 21 March 2019 he justified favouritism in a Class C3 race at Sonoda for his first win at the twentieth attempt, and he was deregistered after a final start at Sonoda on 30 May that year. Career earnings 1,812,000 yen.

Killer Cyc Millet after racing

A son of the dirt champion Vermilion, he won just once in twenty-five starts, and that single victory did not come until his twentieth outing. Deregistered after a last race at Sonoda, he was gelded and went straight into TCC's horse shelter; he was about to begin work as a lesson horse at a riding club in Gunma when a bone fragment, most likely carried since his racing days, was found and his exercise had to be cut back. He moved to a horsemanship school in Chiba, where care from vets and staff let him rebuild his body, and he has come back far enough to enter equestrian competitions and to work in the arena with the students.
