Cheval Grand's racing career
Won the 2017 Japan Cup, plus the Hanshin Daishoten and the Argentine Republic Cup, and ran well in the Tenno Sho (Spring) year after year.
Cheval Grand after racing
He took on Kitasan Black at his peak, again and again, and finally reached the top in the 2017 Japan Cup. He is also part of a rare family of G1 winners with Verxina and Vivlos, and was owned by the former baseball star Kazuhiro Sasaki. After stud duty he joined the meritorious horse barn at Northern Horse Park, where you can stand beside that magnificent frame.
