Deep Bond's racing career

Four graded wins: the 2020 Kyoto Shimbun Hai, back-to-back Hanshin Daishoten in 2021 and 2022, and the 2021 Prix Foy in France. Three times second in the Tenno Sho (Spring), he retired after the 2024 Arima Kinen.

Deep Bond after racing

Always a stride short on the biggest days, and always the horse the staying races were about. In May 2025 he became a lead pony at Kyoto Racecourse, and in April 2026, during the retirement week of his old partner Ryuji Wada, he led the field out for the Milers Cup. On a Kyoto race day you can watch him take them from the paddock to the track.
