Can you visit Towa Torana no Kokoro?
Visits are possible at Banei Bokujo Tokachi (Obihiro). Open 10:00–16:00; admission 700 yen for adults (junior high school age and above), 300 yen for elementary school children, free for preschoolers. The former Wednesday closing day was lifted on 24 June 2026, and the farm now opens every day outside its winter closure (the 2026 season reopened on 17 April). Opening days do change, so check the announcements on the official site before visiting.

Towa Torana no Kokoro's racing career
127 starts and 34 wins in Banei draft racing at Obihiro. He won on debut in May 2019, took the Seiun Sho and the Chikiu Misaki Sho at two and the Suzuran Sho, Lilac Sho and Hakurin Sho at four. He added the New Year Cup in January 2024 and was deregistered after the Daiheigen Tokubetsu (Class A1) on 16 March 2025. Regional earnings 14,455,000 yen.
Towa Torana no Kokoro after racing
Born in Memuro, this draft horse won on debut and then took one generation-restricted race after another at two and at four. After 127 starts he retired in March 2025 and became a breeding stallion at Banei Farm Tokachi, where he lives in the stallion barn with five companions including Jay One and Matsukaze Unkai. The farm is open to the public, so the near-one-tonne frame built by years of hauling sleds can be seen close up.
