Dream Dolce's racing career

Seven wins from 49 starts: five from 38 under JRA and two from 11 on the regional circuit. A dirt sprinter, he won the Hokuriku Stakes (a JRA open special) in October 2017 and, after transferring to Urawa, took the Tokai Ohka Sho, a regional graded race at Nagoya, in April 2020. He also tackled big dirt fixtures such as the JBC Sprint and the Katsushima Okan, racing on until the age of nine.

With the dark coat he inherited from his sire Meiner Love, he flew over short dirt trips and kept racing for nine years, from JRA open specials to regional graded races. He became a TCC horse in 2022 and was settled enough at the horse shelter to be given the job of showing newcomers the ropes. Since the end of that year he has worked as a riding horse at Tone Riverside Club in Tone, Ibaraki, spending his days in paddocks beside the Tone River and greeting visitors who come for trail rides and meet-and-greets.
