Kikuno Storm after racing
A dirt sprinter who won at the first time of asking on debut, he came back from three operations to remove bone chips from his left front knee and finally claimed a graded title in the 2015 Capella Stakes, his 36th start. He ran until he was ten, 50 starts in all; after a final run at Sonoda his racing registration was cancelled and he waited for a home as a TCC horse, moving in January 2021 to the Anfee Riding Club in Kaminokawa, Tochigi Prefecture. Now seventeen, he is still on the club's roster, and as a TCC partner facility it arranges chances to meet him.
