Visits require advance contact: call (0748-86-8006) or fax (0748-86-8008) by two days before the day you wish to visit, and if you use the fax give your name, a phone number where you can be reached on the day, the date and time you want, and the number of people. Viewing hours are 14:00-17:00 and the centre is closed on Tuesdays, when enquiries are not taken either. A member of staff will guide you, and you may go inside the stable. Groups must also make contact two days in advance. A training farm for horses in training shares the site, so follow staff instructions at all times. Selfie sticks may be used, but ask staff for permission on the day before posting your photos on social media. Visitors are asked to wear a mask, come in small numbers and keep the visit short.

Courir Kaiser's racing career

38 JRA starts for 6 wins and career earnings of 253.844 million yen. He led all the way to win the American Jockey Club Cup (GII) in January 2015 as the fourth favourite, his first victory at his eighth attempt in graded company. The previous year he had run well over middle and long distances, finishing second in the Argentine Republic Cup (GII) and third in both the Stayers Stakes (GII) and the All Comers (GII). His only Group 1 start was the 2015 Tenno Sho (Spring). On the flat in conditions races he won the Sanfuji Sho (500-man class), the Shinonome Sho (1000-man class), the Sunshine Stakes (1600-man class) and the Wangan Stakes (1600-man class), and his registration was cancelled on 3 March 2017 at the age of eight.

A son of King Halo out of Smile Contest (by Soccer Boy), he climbed the conditions ladder one step at a time from the spring of his three-year-old season, and in the autumn of his fifth year he found a place in graded company by running third in the All Comers as the twelfth favourite. By the end of that year he was sent off favourite for the Stayers Stakes, and in his first run as a six-year-old he broke well in the American Jockey Club Cup, took the lead and held on through a slow pace to win a GII at his eighth attempt at graded level. After his registration was cancelled at eight he became a riding horse at the Konan Equestrian Center in Koka, Shiga, and he has stayed there ever since, subsidised under the Meritorious Horse Keeping Support Programme since the 2019 fiscal year. In news filed by his keeper in April 2026 he is described as a calm horse with a fine coat who spends quiet days and is given treats by the people who come to see him.
