In 2011, the year Orfevre swept the Triple Crown, he won his third in a row in the Kyoto Shimbun Hai and ran fifth in the Derby. His stud career over, he moved to a riding club in Katori, Chiba, where he and Look Twice are both meritorious horses open to visitors. A horse who breathed the air of that crop, and an easy trip from Tokyo.
