Meiner Kitz's racing career

Won the 2009 Tenno Sho (Spring) at long odds, and added the 2010 Nikkei Sho (G2) and the 2011 Stayers Stakes (G2). A stayer through and through.

Meiner Kitz after racing

Bred at Big Red Farm and brought up through the Ruffian ranks, he was written off as an outsider and won the spring cup anyway. After years as a meritorious horse at the Negishi racing memorial park in Yokohama he moved to AERU in 2023, and past twenty he shares a paddock with Nakayama Festa. A Takarazuka Kinen winner and a Tenno Sho winner grazing side by side: that is Urakawa.
