Jasper Prince after racing

An American-bred dirt runner who won open-class races in Japan while travelling back to his birth country two years running for the Breeders' Cup. He combined the reliability of back-to-back wins under the same conditions at Chukyo with the nerve to take on the biggest Grade 1 stages. At nine he moved to Kochi, but injured his left foreleg after his first start there and his racing days ended; since June 2026 he has been rebuilding his condition at a horse shelter in Ritto, Shiga Prefecture, while a new job is found for him.
