Riccardo's racing career
After the 2016 Elm Stakes (G3) he moved to Funabashi in 2018 and won four southern Kanto graded races in a row: the Hochi Grand Prix Cup, the Fujino Wave Kinen, the Brilliant Cup and the Oi Kinen.

Graded titles on both the JRA and regional circuits, and a career that lasted into old age. He debuted as a lead pony at Funabashi in September 2024 and led the field at the JBC meeting there in November 2025. On a Funabashi race day you can watch him bring the runners out.
