Can you visit Libertas?
The farm does not admit the general public except at its events (the dog run included). Visits are arranged through TCC's hands-on riding reservation system (meet-and-greet, photography, led riding, trial rides, trot and canter lessons). Bookings open one month ahead and close five working days before the visit, weekends and public holidays excluded. Opening hours are 9:00–12:00, and the farm is closed on Sundays, Wednesdays and public holidays (changed in August 2026). Reservations and e-mail replies are handled on weekdays between 10:00 and 17:00, so messages sent at the weekend are answered the following week. A parking and facility-upkeep fee of 1,100 yen applies regardless of membership status. Cancellation costs 50% the day before and 100% on the day itself. On days above 30°C, when the heat is judged hard on the horses, a lesson may be halted partway, and in summer the horses are brought in earlier so that meet-and-greets take place inside the stable. Libertas after racing
Bred at Shadai Farm and owned by Makoto Kaneko Holdings, he belonged to the very first crop Deep Impact ever sired and made his debut from Katsuhiko Sumii's stable. In the Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes at the end of his two-year-old season he fought his way into third in the race won by Grand Prix Boss, who now lives at Versailles; he then took the Wakakoma Stakes that January and went on racing for seven seasons, until the summer of his eighth year. Since moving in early 2017 to Midori no Uma Farm in Narita, Chiba, he has carried riders as a saddle horse, shares his paddock with Rosa Gigantea and other companions, and turned eighteen in February 2026.
